Walking in Vlissingen
At the end of the bustling boulevard in Vlissingen begins a special piece of nature in the Netherlands: the dunes and beaches of Walcheren. Walk directly along the water on the beach or walk through the well-maintained paths in the dunes. From Vlissingen you can walk in the direction of Dishoek. Fervent hikers continue to Zoutelande. On the other side of Vlissingen, near Ritthem, you will find the walk around Fort Rammekens. A special place between ports, industrial area and the Western Scheldt!
Walking in Kamperland
The surroundings of De Kamperduinen on the extreme tip of Noord-Beveland are a walking paradise. Walk along the clean Banjaard beach with a view of the Delta Works or watch boats and kite surfers on the Veerse Meer. Close to Kamperland is the Oranjezon nature reserve: a walk takes you through forests and dunes with low shrubs. Don’t be surprised if you run into a group of roe deer or fallow deer!
Walking in Goes
A city walk in Goes takes you along the photogenic city harbour, the Veste and atmospheric streets in the city center. Or go into nature and walk – via De Mirakel city park – through the polder towards the picturesque village of Kloetinge. From the Goese Sas it is a beautiful walk along the Oosterschelde. Or discover the orchards and meadows in the Zak van Zuid-Beveland, for example around Hoeve van der Meulen.

Discover the VOC past of Middelburg and stroll along the Abbey complex, squares and canals and through picturesque alleys – don’t forget the Kuiperspoort!
